Tried a few other programs for working with audio. None of them did what I needed (or were too complex to figure out). Yours allowed me to change volume, move a sound into stereo land (with left right panning), add noise gate to clip the silence between spoken words, etc. Simple and powerful. I registered it within minutes of launching the program.

I have used SndSampler (registered!) for about three years to help with transferring my stock of 78rpm records and LPs to compact disc. I record 78s from an acoustic gramophone to minidisc, transfer the minidisc tracks to SndSampler and then remove clicks and pops with absolute accuracy, unlike Spin Doctor in Toast where the editing sounds as though it has been done with a blunt hatchet. I can tailor excessive hiss and turntable rumble from the original recording using SndSampler's tools, and although I am aware that there is a massive program that I don't use, what I do use I am amazingly grateful for. Keep up the good work.
